2 mm Byzantine Chain One of the most beautiful in the chain collection, this intricate weave is best suited to some of my larger pendants. The original pattern dates back approximately to the 14th century Eastern Roman Empire, although it has been adapted in current times by many cultures as far away as Thailand. Available in 16", 18" 20" and 24" in the Oxidized Finish only. The Oxidized chains go through a multi-stage process to give them their dark antique coloring, and are especially suited to the deep relief carving that is the hallmark of my work.
